What are the recording resolutions supported by the GC515?
4KP30 (Required to choose 4K30 on the HDMI input source), 1440P60, 1080P120, 1080P60, 1080P50, 720P60, 720P50, 576P50, 480P60, 1280×800@60, 640×480@60
Which Micro SD cards are supported by GC515 PC Free mode?
MicroSDXC cards with a speed of UHS-I Speed Class 3 (U3) A2 V30 or higher formatted to exFAT. The following microSD cards have been verified: SanDisk Ultra Extreme U3 1TB, Team Group T-FORCE Gaming A2 U3 1TB
Can the GC515 record in 4K in PC-free mode?
Yes, it can record in 4K30. However, 4K30 recording on the SD card is only supported when the HDMI input source is set to 4K30. If your HDMI input source is 4K60, the SD card will only support recording in 1080p60 or 1080p120.
Why does playback of videos recorded on the SD card feel choppy?
The issue may be due to unstable or insufficient power supply. We recommend using the power supply included with the handheld device and connecting it to the power input port of the GC515.
Why is there no display output even though I’ve connected the GC515 properly?
Ensure your device’s Type-C port supports DP Alt mode. Use the included C-to-C cable to connect it to the GC515. Confirm the GC515 is connected to a USB PD port, as it doesn’t supply power and must be connected to a suitable power source.
