    2:19:22 outro

My favorites were Lego Horizon, Cuffbust, Once Human, Space Marine 2, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and Alan Wake II expnsion. Oh and the Party Animals Doggo life! =)

Shout out to the smaller devs for being way better than all the AAA Slop we get, yall need a union

  2. I started watching the Valorant ad, left to do a little chore, came back, and we were still on the Valorant ad.

    1. Hell yeah, Alan Wake content was the number 1 thing I anticipated tonight, and to have it shadow dropped like that was unreal for me.

  3. I love how he called out big game developers so early on. and I loved how the crowd went a lil quiet after that like “oh.. um..”

    1. I honestly feel like he only did it because so many people called him out for not talking about it last year at the game awards

    2. It was very unexpected as people usually dunk Keighley about this type of stuff. But it’s good to see that man take the criticism of the last game awards in order to improve this years summer games fest

    3. @@PrescottLawani yeah this felt like too little too late
At least there was some great indie games in here but yeah Geoff should do better

    4. @@Jum_jamb0 If he didn’t do it here people would have STILL said he’s not saying anything, he might as well do it now.

    1. That phrase was said a lot “why would we want..” but it sometimes ends up as something that we all never knew is gonna turn out amazing.

Edit : An example I could think of is minecraft, when it first released I assume no one wanted this pixelated simple no content game but yet look how it’s doing now.
It’s not the same exact situation but it’s similar.

there is also stardrew valley a farming simulation what a boring idea right? Well it’s popular now and a lot of people enjoy it.

Also for the “The Rat King” part, a lot of characters can have funny or silly names or designs but turn out very well-written and cold so don’t underestimate the writers.

    1. And it’s still getting worse. I honestly don’t blame Xbox bringing games to PlayStation who knows that move may end up saving the industry in the long run.

    2. @@ricky9311 I don’t know what’s odder – not being sure that was a joke or not, or then immediately thinking after that “Wait, that’s surprisingly not very specific. That could be a lot of them.”.

  4. Geoff Keighley gets a lot of hate it seems, but who else has used his connections and money to bring stuff like this and the Game Awards to us? Meanwhile, he has spotlighted so many indies, and helped them get seen. The guy is a net positive for the game industry IMO. Sucks to see him get hated on so much on X, and in these comments.

    1. This comment is sooo underrated IMO, I literally have to scroll 100+ comments to see this. I mean, supporting Indies is more important than ever now that the fact that layoffs are happening…

  5. I love how people started to cheer when Jeff said Arkham verse but it IMMEDIATELY calmed down after he said it was Shadow πŸ€£πŸ’€

    1. β€žVerdammt, deine Schwester ist gut!β€œ β€žSie ist meine Mutter!β€œ “Das ist sogar noch besser!” ❀

  6. **Day of the Devs**
2:23:00 Battle Vision Network (Capybara Games, 2025) <-- dev studio(s) and any release date 2:26:32 Cairn (The Game Bakers) 2:29:06 Petal Runner (Nano Park Studios) 2:32:25 KARMA: The Dark World (Pollard Studio) 2:35:25 UFO 50 (Mossmouth, September 18) 2:39:15 Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit (Spry Fox, only on Netflix) 2:42:15 Koira (Studio Tolima, Summer 2024) 2:44:55 Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure (Furniture & Mattress, July 25) | Steam demo available 2:47:56 Fear the Spotlight (Cozy Game Pals, Blumhouse Games) 2:49:36 Screenbound (Crescent Moon Games, Those Dang Games) 2:53:31 Zoochosis (Clapperheads) 2:57:12 While Waiting (Optillusion) | Steam demo available 3:00:01 Psychroma (Rocket Adrift) | Steam demo available 3:03:06 Building Relationships (Tan Ant Games) | Steam demo available 3:06:02 A Little to the Left: Seeing Stars DLC (Max Inferno, June 25) 3:07:40 Hello Again (Soup Island, 2025) 3:09:45 Tom the postgirl (Oopsie Daisies) | Steam demo available 3:12:20 Afterlove EP (Pikselnesia, Q3) | Steam demo available 3:15:10 Phoenix Springs (Calligram Studio) 3:18:09 Tides of Tomorrow (Digixart) **Devolver Direct** 3:41:23 Cult of the Lamb: Unholy Alliance DLC (Massive Monster, August 12) 3:43:14 The Crush House (Nerial, August 9) | Steam demo available 3:46:30 Tenjutsu (Deepnight Games) 3:49:20 The Talos Principle 2: Road to Elysium DLC (Croteam, June 14) 3:52:19 Anger Foot (Free Lives, July 11) | Steam demo available 3:55:39 Possessor(s) (Heart Machine, 2025)

  7. Killer bean looks dope, wukong black myth I’ve been waiting for that one, monster hunter looks sick, phantom blade zero looks amazing!

    1. @@slappyjo1046 unfortunately no servers in Australia so I don’t play it, I wouldn’t know much about it…

    1. yesss, but with the pricing for summer game fest its no wonder every trailer is 2 minutes tops

    2. It’s not viable to do those anymore. Making demos for showcases detracts developers from working on the actual game. Usually around the time a demo is showcased, the actual game is still very buggy and unfinished. Developers have to literally cut away a vertical slice of the game and polish it for the demo. And more often than not, all that work is wasted because it ends up getting thrown away and isn’t a part of the final product. It’s not worth the time and effort, even for marketing purposes.

    3. I don’t want much! I just want the person reading this to be healthy, happy, and loved! Wishing you a good day full of nothing but positivity, my friend πŸ’•

  8. Notice how killer bean was one of the only games with actual gameplay in the trailer and not just being some animation

    1. Perfect trailer:
      – has a few cutscenes
      – shows a lot of gameplay
      – has a release window

That’s all it takes to satisfy the crowd lmao

  9. Was this lacking a big aha moment from the big 3 of course it was. They have their own video things each June. Did this end up being a really solid good opportunity for developers, teams, and games I’d of never knew about. Yes there is so really cool stuff here that wouldn’t have seen the light of day if not for this show and they need and deserve an opportunity to get the word out there.

  10. I miss E3 so much I hate how it’s been taken apart piece meal. It’s so less impactful than 3-4 huge showcases with bangers. Plz return it

    1. Except we still have xbox and pc gaming, delvover ubisoft this week. There also ea this year.

So realy blame nintendo and sony.

    2. not like it can simply be brought back, it died for a reason. It pains me as well but at least this helps kinda “set things in motion” for the industry reminding devs and companies to pull up their top game around these days like before

    3. E3 sucked the last few years of its existence, so, trust, you aren’t missing anything.

  11. It’s amazing to see how an event like this unfolds, with amazing developers showcasing their heart and soul in these games. It’s great to see the larger role independent game developers are playing in the industry. The diversity in the game lineups truly shows incredible creativity.

  12. Killer Bean is getting his own game let’s go lol
Stoked af for Sparking Zero though, we haven’t had a good Dragon Ball game in so long

    1. Ummm Kakarot and FighterZ? Xenoverse 2 is also pretty good. Yet again, Breakers exists but it’s for players into that Dead by Daylight gameplay

    2. I don’t want much! I just want the person reading this to be healthy, happy, and loved! Wishing you a good day full of nothing but positivity, my friend πŸ’•

    3. @@aidanlyons25 like she said havent had a good game in a long time nothing compared to the old school dbz budokai tenkaichi on ps2 id prefer them over any other dbz game
