  1. I like that she doesn’t sing a song the same each time. She changes it up live. It makes me love her even more.

    1. Same. I wish I could just give her my number, and ask her to call me every morning–so that I could answer and hear her singing to me. I want the real thing lol. And I’m a girl 😅

  2. If you’ve ever been to a lana del rey concert you’ll notice she sings her first few songs nervously and eventually warms up to the crowd and sings beautifully. Just like normal people lana gets nervous too.

    1. Literally heard that this weekend watching the Coachella stream. Started off really rough but the end it was great!

  3. I pisses me off how people just don’t understand her style. That’s just the way she sings, it’s not nerves, it’s just simply a way to sing, and obviously it pleases millions of people. So i recommend your sorry poor asses to not think she is messing up, because she is not stupid and she KNOWS what she’s doing.

    1. 22shakingcrazy I love Lana but you can have a different singing style and still be a phenomenal singer

    2. Brooklyn Baby she knows it’s not necessary to sing classically.
I love Lana because she sings in her own unique way, and I truly respect and admire that💗

    3. you mean bouncing from key to key is an artistic choice? She was changing the key to almost every verse of the song which caused the song to sound messy, and unpleasing. I respect her style, but everything that’s repetitive kinda annoys the majority. Regardless, Lana’s a good songwriter and I stan her writing.

  4. Honestly why are people saying this performance is bad? She sounded lovely here and sounded very close to how it is on the album.

    1. It was tender and vulnerable; how does it get better than that?   Also, the song, written by Del Rey & Justin Parker, is a gem.

    2. People were talking about the SNL performance. NOT THIS ONE. This is the performance she did to show her critics they were wrong. This was right after the bad SNL performance

    3. It was awesome, she was like pouring honey out of this song. I could imagine what her vajajay looked like while she was singing this.

  5. I think people these days are used to perfect voices (auto tuned) that real voices sound off to them, get over it. Her music is not centralized on her Vocal capabilities, It’s more

    1. My thoughts exactly. Her voice gets pitchy sometimes but she sings with so much emotion. Not everyone will get it.

    1. ***** a half second note which she ends on a completly different flat note??Damn you dont know anything about singing, just trying to defend her image. Nice.

  6. did anyone notice she changed the lyrics at the end of the song? I mean she skipped one line “They say the world was built for two” and the pianist caught up so quickly to change the tune! Wow that guy was cool! Lovely performance as ever my queen. I really liked this one in particular!

    1. It was on purpose – everyone was aware of it; this was a live performance on national TV, that’s why they shorted the song.

  7. She’s just born in the wrong generation, but I’m so glad we got a chance to witness her style, voice, songs and beautiful soul.

  8. I had no idea. I had heard of her name but just wrote her off as another generic singer. This was truly beautiful. The best words I can think of to describe this performance are – Hauntingly beautiful.

  9. She’s so old hollywood. The way she stands on stage and talks to Dave after the performance felt straight off a sixties variety show.

    1. Good music has no time limit, just because she not cussing or sounding like everyone else, does not make her old fashioned..It not your taste fine.

    1. Hmmm. It might be that she’s not a super powerhouse singer like some who achieve her level of fame. I think what makes her special goes beyond just the notion of having a powerful voice. It’s something about “presence”. And vulnerability too. It might be the sort of thing that just separates people — I guess you’re gonna love her or hate her. How weird. But it seems to be true.

    2. Liked her until she ‘practised Witchcraft to stop Trump’ – then realized she was a dumb, out of touch celeb like the rest

    3. @@simplelife88393 hating trump is very understandable and quite frankly an intelligent thing to do

  10. She’s not a performer like Beyoncé or Ariana. She’s just a singer and that’s all she needs to be because the music speaks for itself.

    1. She has to be the best singer out there she gets nervous but it adds to the charm. She’s wonderful singer, for me the best at the moment.

  11. The piano player picked up that she missed a part and just cut to the ending- what a professional lol I would’ve cracked under the pressure

    1. This was all rehearsed heavily as it’s a live TV performance. What I mean to say is, he didn’t pick up on anything as there was nothing to pick up; these late-night types of performances tend to be shortened versions of the artist’s original song.

    2. And as someone else noted in comment here, the string quartet isn’t going to just cut to an ending like perhaps a solo piano accompaniment could do… this. was. the. arrangement.

    3. @@heresjohnny5307 Its a 4:41 song. They just had to edit it for tv. Shorten it so they can throw an extra commercial in there. $$$. Great performance all the same.
